To operate the AOCP plant safely and efficiently by carrying out production activities as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining product quality, ensuring safety compliance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous plant operations to achieve production targets.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Plant Operations

Operate reactors, pumps, filters, centrifuges, dryers and other process equipment as per approved SOPs.

Carry out batch charging, reaction monitoring, filtration, drying and product transfer activities.

Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, level and pH.

Ensure uninterrupted shift operations and achieve planned production targets.

2. Production Process MonitoringRecord process parameters and production data in logbooks and batch records.

Monitor product quality during processing and report deviations immediately.

Coordinate with Shift Incharge for smooth execution of production schedules.

Minimize process losses and improve operational efficiency.

Equipment Care MaintenancePerform routine inspection of plant equipment.

Identify and report equipment abnormalities.

Assist the Maintenance Department during preventive and breakdown maintenance.

Ensure proper lubrication and housekeeping around equipment.

4. Safety ComplianceStrictly follow all safety procedures, SOPs and Work Permit Systems.

Wear and ensure proper use of mandatory PPE.

Report unsafe conditions, near misses and incidents immediately.

Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills and training programmes.

5. Housekeeping Environmental ComplianceMaintain valuable housekeeping and 5S standards in the plant.

Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste materials.

Prevent chemical spills, leakages and environmental emissions.

Follow environmental compliance requirements at all times.

6. Material HandlingSafely handle raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
