Qualification Skills Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management from an accredited university or college
- 5 to 10 years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing or supply chain preferably in Oil Gas/Petrochemicals/Energy/Large EPC sectors
- Should have good experience in the procurement of Raw materials, Equipments, Fabrication, Consumables, Electrical Instrumentation items etc.
- Must possess good knowledge and understanding of commercial negotiation skills, purchase terms and conditions for various equipment items and commodities
- Must have superior communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ongoing management of purchasing strategy and activity and for ensuring optimal supplier performance and price
- Development and implementation of Procurement and Cost Estimating activities




- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Budgeting cost comparison, undertake cost analysis, benchmarking and contribute to product pricing strategy
- Aim at significant reduction in procurement price through effective negotiations, market intelligence, E-auctions, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
- Develop recent vendors to bring more competition and cost reduction
