Designation UI/UX Engineer

Reporting to Associate Director Technology Engineering

Roles and Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UI/UX design - user research, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups - for internal tools such as the diligence platform, audit tool, and related workflow/reporting products
- Translate complex, data-heavy financial and operational workflows (deal diligence, audit trails, risk checklists, reporting) into easy, intuitive user journeys
- Build responsive, production-grade front-end components (React or equivalent) that implement your own designs, working closely with backend engineers on integration
- Design and maintain data-dense views - dashboards, tables, checklists, document viewers, and visualizations - that stay usable at scale
- Create and maintain a shared design system / component library to ensure visual and interaction consistency across all internal tools
- Run usability testing and feedback sessions with internal users (analysts, auditors, deal teams); iterate quickly based on findings




- Partner with product owners and leadership to scope new tools, prioritize features, and define the technology roadmap for internal platforms
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser/device compatibility across all products
- Document design decisions, patterns, and front-end components for a small but growing engineering team

Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design and/or front-end engineering, ideally on B2B, enterprise, fintech, or data-heavy analytical products
- Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD - wireframing, prototyping, and design systems
- Solid front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a modern framework (React preferred; Vue/Angular acceptable)
- Demonstrated experience designing for complex, data-intensive interfaces - dashboards, multi-step forms, tables, filters, docum
