The Manager Business Development is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and developing strategic sales initiatives for freight forwarding and logistics services. The role focuses on achieving revenue and profitability targets while leading the sales team, building robust customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. CTC: 15 20 Lakhs per annum ## Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets. - Identify and acquire new customers for Air Freight, Sea Freight (Import Export), Customs Clearance, Transportation, Warehousing, and other logistics services. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, corporate clients, and overseas partners. - Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of the business development team. - Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans in line with organizational objectives. - Negotiate commercial terms, freight rates, and service contracts with customers.



- Collaborate with operations, pricing, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities. - Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and business reviews to strengthen client relationships. - Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and maximize conversion into confirmed business. - Oversee customer onboarding, contract management, and service implementation. - Ensure timely collection of receivables in coordination with the finance team. - Prepare and present monthly sales reports, pipeline reports, and management updates. - Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums. ## Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field. - MBA in Marketing or Logi
