Job Title: Specialist Engineer, IT Infrastructure (L2 Support Engineer)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Specialist Engineer in IT Infrastructure to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is pivotal in handling advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution of escalated incidents from Level 1 support. The ideal candidate will ensure system stability and performance optimization in containerized and cloud-native environments, with a strong focus on Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:
- Act as an escalation point for Level 1 support, diagnosing complex issues across infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure issues.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and maintain a Knowledge Base for known errors (KEDB).
- Ensure platform reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency.




- Support deployments and change activities while adhering to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
- Mentor Level 1 resources and contribute to the improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Mandatory Skills:
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Robust troubleshooting skills in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Intermediate knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including Ingress, DNS, and Load Balancers.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Shell and Python.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD, GitOps, and Helm.
- ITIL certification is preferred.
- Cloud certifications such as Cloud Associate or CKA are a plus.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
