The Role

The Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting remediation, enhancement, Technical support and maintenance activities across Open Banking APIs, Mobile Banking, Web Banking, and Custom Online Banking Application platforms. The role requires solid functional expertise, technical understanding, and testing capabilities to analyze issues, define solutions, support development teams, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality digital banking services.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for remediation and enhancement initiatives.
- Perform impact analysis for incidents, defects, regulatory changes, and platform upgrades.
- Create and maintain functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and business rules.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and production support teams.
- Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and solution validation activities.
- Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations, security requirements,



and digital banking standards.
- Analyze and document API integration requirements and customer journeys across digital channels.
- Support remediation of functional defects and service disruptions in Open Banking, Mobile Banking, and Web Banking platforms.
- Validate integrations with authentication, payment, account information, and third-party provider services.
- Review and analyze end-to-end digital banking processes and customer experiences.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and optimization opportunities.

Online banking Application Functional Expertise
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all how mobile technology works functionalities and detailed end-to-end business flows.
- Analyze customer journeys, user interactions, and transaction processing workflows within mobile and web banking.
