Apparel Buying Merchandiser

Location: South Delhi
Salary: Up to 50,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 4 years in apparel merchandising

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Apparel Buying Merchandiser with a strong background in high-end fashion and luxury party wear. The ideal candidate will possess end-to-end merchandising expertise and a proven track record in a buying house environment. This role requires a keen eye for fashion trends, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Merchandising: Oversee the entire merchandising process from product selection to delivery, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating terms and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for recent product lines and enhancements to existing collections.
- Inventory Management:



Monitor stock levels and sales performance, making recommendations for reorders and markdowns as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product offerings that align with brand strategy.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and market trends to senior management.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in apparel merchandising, specifically within a buying house setting.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-end fashion, luxury party wear, and current market trends.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in merchandising software and MS Office Suite.
