Job Title: Salesforce Technical Lead

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka-India

Overview: Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for translating complex product requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams in an agile environment, guiding and mentoring a team of Salesforce Developers while ensuring adherence to best practices throughout all phases of development.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust, maintainable Salesforce.com solutions.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams, including UI/UX Leads, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Technical Architects.
- Evaluate user requirements in partnership with the Product Owner and engineering teams.
- Make recommendations for interacting with legacy systems and create design documents to illustrate software components.
- Provide best practices for Salesforce.com configuration and development, conduct peer reviews of code,



and create/update object schemas and queries.
- Read and interpret existing code bases and ensure quality and performance of solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing, administering and configuring Salesforce.com solutions (Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus).
- Proven experience working with both onshore and offshore teams.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com objects, Apex, integration, data manipulation, and security.
- Solid background in designing, constructing, and deploying applications on the Salesforce.com platform.
- Experience with database design, database objects, and procedures.
- Knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices.
- Solid skills in VF Pages, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
