- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale SaaS or cloud-native applications.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails, or equivalent experience in modern backend technologies such as C#, Java, Go, or Python with the ability to quickly ramp up in a Ruby ecosystem.
- Experience building and maintaining applications using Ruby on Rails, including APIs, background processing, application performance optimisation, and scalable service development.
- Deep expertise in System Design and Software Architecture, including microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and API design.
- Proven experience designing highly scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant systems.
