Key Responsibilities:
- Playbook Development

Design, build, and maintain automated playbooks for incident response workflows (phishing, malware, identity alerts, vulnerability notifications, etc.)

Translate SOC runbooks and analyst triage logic into durable, well-structured automation

Build modular playbook libraries to maximize reuse across incident types

Implement conditional branching, parallel execution, SLA timer management, and context handling best practices
- Integration Development

Build custom integrations in Python against internal and third-party APIs where out-of-the-box connectors do not exist or do not meet requirements

Develop against REST/Graph QL APIs handle auth patterns (OAuth2, API key, Bearer token),pagination, rate limiting, and error handling

Write integration schemas, argument definitions, and output mappings consistent with platform standards

Unit test and validate integrations before production deployment
- Platform Administration

Manage day-to-day SOAR platform health: content/pack updates, integration credential rotation, server monitoring,



Docker image management where applicable

Administer users, roles, and RBAC configurations

Troubleshoot failed playbook runs, broken integrations, and alert ingestion issues

Support version upgrades and patch management in coordination with infrastructure teams

Maintain platform documentation and change logs
- Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement

Engage with SOC analysts, detection engineers, and other security teams to identify automation opportunities

Translate analyst feedback and post-incident findings into playbook improvements and new automation workflows

Contribute to the teams automation roadmap identify gaps, propose solutions, and own delivery

Build and maintain dashboards for SOAR metrics (automation coverage, MTTR, playbook execution rates)

Stay current on SOAR platform capabilities, industry trends, and emerging tools relevant to AMDs setting
