GNM / B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing from a recognised institution.

Clinical & Quality:
- Ensure delivery of protected, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor patient care activities and ensure adherence to ICU protocols and standards
- Assist in the management of medical emergencies and code blue situations
- Coordinate with consultants, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans
- Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices within the ICU
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and nursing protocols
- Monitor quality indicators such as infection rates, medication errors, patient falls, and patient satisfaction
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation activities
- Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation

Experience

10+ years of nursing experience with proven ICU leadership. General shift.

Team & Operations:
- Prepare and manage nursing duty rosters and shift allocations




- Supervise ICU nursing staff and provide guidance and support
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Identify training needs and coordinate ongoing clinical education programs
- Ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts
- Monitor availability and functionality of ICU equipment, including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, and defibrillators
- Ensure adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and emergency supplies
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Address patient and family concerns professionally and empathetically
- Facilitate effective communication between patients families and healthcare teams
- Maintain ICU records, reports, and departmental documentation
- Prepare daily census and operational reports
- Participate in departmental meetings and management reviews
- Assist in policy implementation and process improvement initiatives
