- Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools and platforms to enhance software development and code quality. Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Experience in code quality tools (Sonar, linting)

- Good to have CI/CD awareness and Hibernate / JPA, Kafka / messaging, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP if used)
- Robust understanding of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture along with API contracts, Inter-service communication, Basic resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker).
- Experience with relational databases, Query optimization, indexing basics, transaction handling such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Strong proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical decisions for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
