The Pharmacist at Manipal Hospitals will be responsible for providing secure and effective pharmaceutical care to patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications and compounds according to established protocols.
- Conduct medication therapy management and provide patient counseling on medication use.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes and resolve potential drug-related issues.
- Monitor drug therapy for safety and efficacy, adjusting orders as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and ensure proper inventory control.




- Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to treatment planning.
- Provide education and training to pharmacy staff and interns.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and pharmacy practices.

Skills and Tools Required:
- Bachelor s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacy license in the relevant state/region.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make clinical judgments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in pharmacy practice.
