Job Summary

Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital is seeking an experienced and driven Senior HR Manager to lead and strengthen HR operations across the institution. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in a medical or academic setting, with expertise in labor law compliance, policy implementation, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end hiring for faculty, administrative, and support roles
- Create job descriptions, manage postings, shortlist candidates, and conduct interviews
- Coordinate with department heads for timely and strategic hiring

2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Supervise onboarding programs and orientation sessions
- Ensure complete documentation, verification, and induction compliance

Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts
- Organize engagement initiatives to enhance team morale and retention
- Promote awareness of institutional HR policies

4. Payroll & Perks Administration
- Monitor attendance systems, coordinate payroll, and manage salary records
- Oversee leave policies, benefits programs, and insurance enrollment

5. Compliance & Legal Adherence
- Ensure full adherence to labor laws and regulatory frameworks
- Maintain proper records for audits, inspections, and institutional accreditation

6. Training & Development
- Assess training needs and implement skill development programs
- Collaborate with external and internal trainers for ongoing professional growth

7. Performance Management
- Lead performance appraisals and implement evaluation systems
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives
