SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

Position overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly-driven and motivated Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic organization. The is located in and will be a critical role our Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Planner will work with our Supply Chain Team, based in France.

The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible optimising stock levels and turnover based on the information available to them. They will represent OPTIMAS in dealings with suppliers and subcontractors and develop win-win partnerships. Ensuring compliance with the conditions receiving incoming products and anticipating any difficulties in order to meet the companys commitments are significant aspects of this role. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible ensuring the reliability of the information entered into the ERP system, as well as actively participating in improving the service and organisation by making as many suggestions as possible in this area.

Main responsibilities:
- Analyse customer needs in relation to available stock,



prioritise and place orders accordingly
- Track and record supplier order acknowledgements in the ERP system
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery times are met
- Organise supplier shipments/collections, set a schedule taking into account available resources
- Send carriers the documents customs clearance of imported goods
- Handle service non-conformities
- Report on activities in accordance with the organisation
- Handle other related administrative tasks
- Knowledge of the basics of transport regulations, customs and Incoterms
- Ability to analyse a situation and determine the actions to be taken
- Ability to anticipate, plan and prioritise actions
- ERP, procurement software
- Two to three of higher education in purchasing/supply chain/logistics or similar
