As the Food and Beverages In-charge at Manipal Hospitals, you will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hospital. This includes managing the hospital cafeteria, patient meal services, catering for special events, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for food and beverage operations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the hospital cafeteria, including menu planning, food preparation, and serving of meals to staff, patients, and visitors.
- Coordinate with the hospitals dietary department to ensure that patient meal services meet prescribed dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines.
- Manage the procurement of food and beverage supplies and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Train, supervise, and schedule the food and beverage staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting, cost control,



and revenue generation.

Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Managment, Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices for food preparation and service.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and multiple operational areas.
- Proficient in computer applications related to food and beverage management, such as inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
