Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Detailed Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing,



designing and debugging of software applications.Build enhancements within an existing software design and envision improvements to the design. The role will involve technical hands on, designing, coding and debugging, which will require extensive experience in database and application design for high scalable and high availability.

Job Requirements
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes.

- 10+ years of professional experience in software development with healthcare or data warehouse background.
- Very good hands experience in coreJava, J2EE, Java Script framework and front-end development.
- Hands on experience inJUnit, Maven, Gradle, SVN and GIT
- Hands on experience in Micro services with Microprofile
- Very good experience in architecting and developing cloud base applications
- Experience on Apache Spark, HDFS, Kafka is added advantage
- Oracle database experience desired Experience in host virtualization technologies as Containers, Docker
- Very good in PL/SQL and SQL fine-tuning.




- Any Industry Standard Data warehousing tools experience like ODI or Informatica
- Good in UNIX shell scripting or Sound knowledge in UNIX/operating systems.
- Good debugging troubleshooting skills
- Very good in performance fine tuning of applications.
- Adaptable approach for decisions making, ability to understand and take alternative ideas
- Fluent verbal and written English, including technical specs creation
- Customer facing experience.
- Self-motivation to study new technologies, new platforms.
- Ability to perform complex assignment with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Preferably from product development background.
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant
