LumiJobs is looking for a detail-oriented QA / Testing Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for testing our AI-powered career platform, finding issues before they reach users, and helping ensure a reliable and high-quality product.
You will work closely with developers and the founding team to test new features, identify bugs, and maintain product quality across different browsers and devices.
Responsibilities
Test web applications thoroughly, including both normal user flows and edge cases.
Create and execute structured test plans and test cases.
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear and reproducible steps.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Write automated browser tests using Playwright for critical user flows.
Test important features such as signup, login, user profiles, job applications, feeds, and payments.
Perform cross-browser and responsive testing.
Use browser Developer Tools to investigate and reproduce issues.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.




Maintain testing documentation and test results.
Work with developers to understand and resolve reported issues.
Participate in release testing and act as a quality check before deployment.
Help improve the overall testing process and product quality.
Required Skills
2–4 years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
Strong attention to detail.
Valuable understanding of web application testing.
Experience with functional and regression testing.
Ability to create clear test cases and bug reports.
Basic knowledge of browsers and browser Developer Tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify edge cases and think from a user's perspective.
Basic understanding of software development and web technologies.
