ROKADE Group is looking for an Electrical Testing & Condition Monitoring Engineer to carry out electrical and mechanical condition monitoring activities at industrial plants across India. The engineer will be responsible for Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) of HT & LT motors from MCC panels, electrical thermography, vibration measurement and basic condition monitoring analysis, along with preparation of technical reports and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Motor Current Signature Analysis – MCSA
Perform MCSA testing of HT and LT motors from MCC panels.
Collect electrical parameters and motor current signatures using dedicated testing instruments.
Identify rotor-related abnormalities, electrical imbalance, current/phase-related abnormalities, supply-related issues and motor operating deviations.
Analyse test data and assist in preparing technical recommendations.
Maintain proper equipment identification and test records.
Electrical Thermography
Conduct thermal imaging of LT/HT electrical panels, MCCs, PCCs, switchboards and electrical connections.
Identify abnormal temperature rise, hotspots, loose connections, phase imbalance and overloaded components.
Record temperature measurements and thermal images; classify observations by severity.
Prepare thermography observations and recommendations.
Vibration & Condition Monitoring
Perform vibration measurement on motors, pumps, fans, blowers, compressors, gearboxes and other rotating machinery.
Collect overall vibration and spectrum data using vibration analysers.
Carry out basic vibration analysis and identify unbalance, misalignment, mechanical looseness, bearing-related abnormalities and structural vibration.
Maintain vibration routes and equipment records; support senior analysts in detailed diagnosis.
