Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Database Developer with 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing SQL Server database systems. The ideal candidate will specialize in complex T-SQL development, stored procedure design, query performance tuning, and SSIS package maintenance to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and reliability across our enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

T-SQL & Stored Procedure Development: Design, build, and maintain highly optimized stored procedures, complex queries, functions, triggers, and database views to support business applications.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Analyze execution plans, indexes, locks, deadlocks, and query statistics to identify bottlenecks and optimize database performance.
SSIS Development & Maintenance: Build, deploy, debug, and maintain complex SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages for ETL data pipelines and integration tasks.




Data Quality & Integrity: Implement database constraints, transaction handling, and error logging to ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems.
Database Architecture & Support: Collaborate with software engineering and analytics teams to design scalable schema architectures, perform code reviews, and support production database deployments.
Reporting (Advantage): Design, develop, and update reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to support operational and analytical business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7–8 years of dedicated experience as a SQL Server / Database Developer.
Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, including advanced stored procedure logic, dynamic SQL, CTEs, and window functions.
Deep expertise in database performance tuning (Index tuning, Execution Plan analysis, Profiler/Extended Events, Query Store).
