Responsible for CNC/VMC machine setting and operation, including tool and offset setting, fixture setting, and drawing interpretation. Ensure accurate machining, dimensional inspection, production targets, quality standards, and 5S compliance. Troubleshoot basic machining and machine-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC and VMC machines as per production requirements.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
Perform tool setting, offset setting, workpiece loading, and machine parameter adjustments.
Set cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
Carry out first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset corrections.
Identify and troubleshoot basic machining and tool-related issues.
Maintain production targets, quality standards, and 5S requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, and Maintenance teams.
Maintain machine and production records as required.
Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical or relevant technical qualification.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine setting and operation.
