Role: Purchase & Vendor Development Officer

Role Description
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Purchase & Vendor Development Officer to manage end-to-end procurement and supplier development activities.




The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, consumables, machining and fabrication services, and other industrial requirements while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
The role involves close coordination with PPC, Production, Quality, Stores, Design, Accounts, and Management to ensure uninterrupted production and efficient procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and onboard current suppliers and vendors.
Source raw materials, plates, forgings, castings, fasteners, consumables, machining and fabrication services.
Generate RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from multiple suppliers.
Compare quotations based on price, quality, delivery, payment terms, and overall commercial value.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure accurate documentation.
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery
