Job Summary
Understand and support category deliverables, savings commitments, and obligations by managing spend, suppliers, and spot buying related to procurement in a given category or group of categories.
Develop solid working relationships with stakeholders to support the execution of sourcing projects as per category plans.
Lead low-value sourcing, tail management, and negotiation of contracts to secure optimal terms and conditions, ensuring value creation for the business.
Support the business in achieving compliance with legal and ethical procurement policies.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and supplier performance.

Contribute towards CI Projects and innovation
Requirements
- Bachelors in Procurement, Commerce, Business, Economics or a category related subject from a reputed University
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sourcing role
- Experience of Procurement tools and technology platforms desirable
- Demonstrated experience in procurement processes. RFX, Sourcing Events.
- Working knowledge of the lean six sigma framework
- Experience of operating in a remote environment, preferably supporting UK or US geography
- Experience of working with virtual teams leveraging appropriate communication channels tools (verbal / written - email, collaboration tools, etc.) to accomplish the tasks assigned
- Microsoft Suite Competency: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Numeracy Skills
