Data Engineer (1-2 Years)

Responsibilities

- - Watch Reels and YouTube videos every day level up on your fashion sense!
- - This is a hands-on, build-first role where youll write production code alongside experienced engineers - not just observe.
- - Write SQL and Spark queries to extract, transform, and validate data.
- - Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Python.
- - Assist in building and maintaining reliable data pipelines end to end.
- - Learn and work with Spark/PySpark and Databricks as you grow into our Lakehouse stack.
- - Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
- - Support analytics and reporting requirements for product and business teams.
- - Monitor scheduled data pipelines and resolve basic day-to-day issues.
- - Collaborate with senior engineers through development, testing, and code reviews to absorb engineering best practices.
- - Navigate our current stack: Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake (Medallion architecture), BigQuery, Airbyte, and Power BI.

Requirements

- - B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- - 1-2 years of software engineering / data experience.
- - Hands-on SQL (joins, group by, CTEs, window functions).
- - Strong programming fundamentals in Python.
- - Solid understanding of relational databases.
- - Good grounding in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- - Solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

- - Basic Spark or PySpark knowledge.
- - Basic understanding of data warehousing or Databricks.
- - Exposure to Git and version control.
- - Basic cloud knowledge (AWS/GCP).
- - Personal or academic projects involving SQL, Python, or data analytics.
