You'll build reusable platform capabilities, automate engineering workflows, and develop scalable systems that power multiple teams across the organization. What You'll Do

- Build reusable platform components and frameworks using Python and Apache Spark.
- Develop and maintain production-grade data processing applications on Databricks.
- Develop standardized platform capabilities for data ingestion, processing, observability, and governance.
- Build APIs, libraries, and automation that improve engineering productivity.
- Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Delta Lake to build reliable data solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested production code.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive them to resolution.
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.

Required Skills

- 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark).
- Experience building applications on AWS/Databricks.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals including:




- - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Design Patterns
- SOLID Principles
- Data Structures Algorithms
- Clean Code Practices
- Unit Testing

- Experience working with NoSQL/Relational Databases.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable understanding of scalable and reliable software development practices.

Nice to Have

- Experience building Data Platform or internal platform capabilities.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
- Exposure to Generative AI applications.
- Experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.
- Experience with Agentic AI workflows.
- Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
