Consultant Pathologist

Qualification

• MD Pathology / DNB Pathology

• Valid Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Freshers and experienced candidates may apply

• Experience in Histopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, and Laboratory Management will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret laboratory investigations and diagnostic reports

• Report Histopathology, Cytology, Hematology, Biochemistry, and Clinical Pathology cases

• Ensure accuracy, quality control, and timely reporting of laboratory results

• Supervise laboratory operations and technical staff

• Coordinate with clinicians and consultants for diagnostic support and patient management

• Maintain laboratory documentation and quality standards





• Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH guidelines and hospital protocols

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and laboratory audits

Skills Required

• Strong diagnostic and reporting skills

• Sound knowledge of laboratory quality assurance practices

• Excellent communication and clinical coordination abilities

• Ability to manage pathology services independently
