We are looking for an Engineering Manager with solid Calypso development expertise to lead the design, development, and delivery of strategic initiatives within a global Capital Markets setting. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive architecture, development standards, team management, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring high-quality delivery of Calypso-based solutions across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Calypso developers and technical specialists.
Drive end-to-end delivery of Calypso enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Calypso development and customization.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define and deliver solutions.
Oversee application design, code reviews, development best practices, and quality standards.
Manage project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and delivery timelines.




Support production stability, issue resolution, and continuous platform improvements.
Mentor team members and foster technical growth, collaboration, and innovation.
Work closely with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
Drive Agile delivery practices and contribute to strategic technology roadmaps.

Skills

Must have
10+ years of experience in Capital Markets technology with extensive hands-on Calypso development experience.
Solid expertise in Calypso architecture, customization, workflows, business events, and integrations.
Experience working across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Trade Processing functions.
Strong Java development skills with experience in enterprise application development.
Experience with Calypso upgrades, platform enhancements, and large-scale implementations.
Solid understanding of Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Money Ma
