Role & responsibilities
Supervise the operation and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and oversee the work of the ETP Chemist.
Ensure compliance with norms and guidelines prescribed by the Pollution Control Board and other statutory authorities.
Ensure that all procedures and legal requirements related to Safety, Health, and Workplace (EHS)are strictly followed.
Conduct mock drills and safety training programs on a regular basis.
Ensure timely completion of employee health check-ups and safety audits.
Ensure that all fire and safety equipment,first-aid facilities, and personal protective equipment (PPE)are available and maintained in proper working condition.
Carry out and review risk assessment studies and recommends corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all applicable materials.
Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and records for all EHS-related activities.
