Role Overview

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure the stability, performance, and availability of business-critical applications hosted in cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with AWS, SQL databases, and scripting for automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 application support for production and non-production environments.
- Monitor application health, logs, and system performance to ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and infrastructure issues within defined SLAs.
- Work with AWS services to support cloud-based applications (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM,



etc.).
- Perform SQL queries for data validation, issue analysis, and reporting (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-16 years of experience in Application Support / Production Support roles.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS / Amazon Web Services.
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience in scripting: Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell
