HVAC Estimation Engineer Job Description

Job Title: HVAC Estimation Engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed HVAC project estimates, BOQs and quotations.
- Study tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work.
- Perform HVAC equipment selection and capacity calculations.
- Prepare estimates for VRF/VRV, Ductable, Cassette, Split and Package AC systems.
- Calculate quantities for ducting, piping, insulation, electrical and HVAC accessories.
- Prepare accurate material and labour cost estimates.
- Coordinate with the Design, Sales, Purchase and Execution teams.
- Obtain and compare vendor quotations and negotiate rates where required.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients.
- Review project drawings and identify discrepancies or missing information.
- Support the sales team with costing, value engineering and final quotations.




- Maintain estimation records and ensure quotations are submitted within deadlines.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Experience in HVAC estimation, costing and BOQ preparation.
- Knowledge of VRF/VRV, Ductable, Cassette, Split and Package AC systems.
- Good understanding of ducting, chilled-water/refrigerant piping and insulation.
- Ability to read and understand HVAC/MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation software/tools.
- Solid analytical, costing and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, MEP or related field.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in HVAC Design + Estimation + BOQ + Costing + Sales Support will be preferred.
