Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our development team and help build and improve the backend infrastructure for our mobile application.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend APIs and services.
- Work with databases to store and manage application data.
- Implement user authentication and authorization.
- Build APIs for user profiles, posts, connections, messaging, and other app features.
- Integrate frontend/mobile applications with backend APIs.
- Debug issues and optimize backend performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
- Collaborate with mobile developers and UI/UX designers.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of backend development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework:
- Node.js / Express.js
- Python / Django / Flask / FastAPI
- Java / Spring Boot
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases.




- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.

Valuable to Have
- Experience building backend projects or APIs.
- Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with Firebase or cloud services.
- Basic knowledge of Docker.
- Understanding of API security.
- Knowledge of real-time communication such as WebSockets/Socket.IO.
