Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented MDM Executive to support the Buying & Merchandising function by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of product master data. The role will involve managing item master records, vendor information, pricing, assortments, and product hierarchies to support merchandising operations, inventory management, and retail systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain product master data, including SKUs, item descriptions, attributes, barcodes, sizes, colors, categories, and hierarchies.
- Manage vendor and supplier master data in coordination with the Buying team.
- Validate item setup requests to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain product classifications, merchandise hierarchies, and assortment information.
- Support new product launches by ensuring timely creation of item masters and related data.
- Coordinate with Buying, Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Stores, E-commerce, and Finance teams to resolve master data issues.
- Perform data quality checks,



identify discrepancies, and execute corrective actions.
- Manage retail pricing, promotions, and cost updates in line with approved buying decisions.
- Ensure compliance with master data governance policies and SOPs.
- Prepare reports on data quality, pending requests, and SLA adherence.
- Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and process improvement initiatives related to master data.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of retail buying and merchandising processes.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management and item master creation.
- Experience with ERP or retail merchandising systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, JDA/Blue Yonder, Manhattan, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and basic formulas.
