Role & responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot power tools such as drills, grinders, impact wrenches, saws, and rotary hammers.
- Perform repair, maintenance, and servicing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.
- Identify faults in motors, switches, PCBs, batteries, chargers, wiring, and control systems.
- Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for repeated product failures and technical issues.
- Perform warranty inspection and determine whether failures are due to manufacturing defects or misuse.
- Carry out functional and safety testing after repair to ensure the tool is working properly.
- Handle customer complaints and technical queries and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with customers, dealers, distributors, and authorized service centers for service-related issues.
- Manage spare parts,



including identification, replacement, and inventory coordination.
- Prepare and maintain service reports, repair records, warranty claims, and failure analysis reports.

Preferred candidate profile
- Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Experience in power tools, electrical equipment, industrial equipment, consumer electronics, or field service is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in repair, servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
