Contracts Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities

The Contracts Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the India-based Contracts Administration team to ensure timely, accurate, and commercially sound execution of quotations and supplier engagement.

They are expected to ensure team performance, process compliance, and alignment with company objectives while supporting sales growth and contract execution.

Team Oversight
- Supervise, mentor, and assist Contract Administrators.
- Monitor team performance and workload to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
- Review quotations, cost sheets, and bid documentation prior to customer submission.
- Provide training and continuous improvement guidance to team members.
- Act as an escalation point for commercial or operational concerns.

Sales
- Review customer RFQs and support the development of competitive bids.
- Ensure timely issuance of supplier inquiries and follow-ups.




- Validate supplier comparisons and cost sheet accuracy.
- Ensure quotations are commercially sound and aligned with company targets.
- Coordinate with sales team and U.S. management.

Communication & Coordination
- Act as primary liaison between the India Contracts team and U.S.-based Manager.
- Support cross-functional coordination between sales, finance and operations.
- Participate in customer meetings as required.

Future Responsibilities
- Review and support agreement of customer contracts and terms and conditions.
- Order entry and processing within company systems, e.g., SAP B1.
- Accurate issuance of sub-supplier purchase orders and order acknowledgments.

Shift Timing-Mon To Thus-1 to 10 PM & Fri-9 to 1 PM(Halfday).
