Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and hands-on experience with Windows systems, networking, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support to employees through onsite and remote assistance.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, email, applications, and system-related issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, and basic network connectivity.
- Install and configure software, operating systems, drivers,



and security updates.
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts and access permissions.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper allocation and tracking of hardware.
- Diagnose hardware failures and coordinate with vendors/service providers for repairs.
- Monitor and resolve IT support tickets within defined SLA timelines.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Assist with system backups, antivirus, endpoint security, and routine maintenance.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including system setup, access provisioning, and asset handover.
- Ensure IT systems comply with company security policies and procedures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams or vendors.
- Support IT infrastructure and other technology-related projects as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Computer Science
