Mechanical Engineer

Role

We are looking for Mechanical Engineers with experience in building services design and Revit MEP to work on UK-based projects. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary BIM environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Revit MEP models, mechanical drawings and layouts.
- Design and coordinate HVAC, ventilation, heating/cooling and public health systems.
- Prepare schematics, schedules and basic design calculations.
- Carry out heating/cooling load, ductwork, pipework and pressure-loss calculations.
- Coordinate mechanical services with Architectural, Structural, Electrical and BIM teams.
- Support clash detection, model reviews, QA/QC and drawing coordination.
- Review drawings and models and implement coordination comments.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.




- Positive understanding of HVAC and mechanical building services design.
- Experience with HAP, IES VE, Hevacomp, Cymap, DuctSizer/PipeSizer or similar software.
- Knowledge of CIBSE standards and UK Building Regulations.
- Understanding of plant rooms, risers, ductwork, pipework and service coordination.
- Knowledge of Navisworks / ACC / BIM coordination is an advantage.

Preferred Experience
- UK project experience is preferred.
- Gulf project experience is an added advantage.
- Experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, education or industrial projects will be beneficial.
