Hitachi Energy is currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join its team in Maneja, Vadodara, India. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Collaborate with R&D; and Global product support and manage the complete product life cycle for existing products, including Interrupters, Drives, and Circuit Breaker Poles.
- Apply problem‑solving and quality tools (such as RCA, 8D, FMEA, Pareto, etc.) to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
- Contribute to strategic product transfer projects and support the implementation of new products into manufacturing.
- Set goals and objectives for team members and ensure the achievement of operational results.
- Work on designing product‑specific manufacturing processes, Jigs/Fixtures and equipment.



As Team Leader, supervise team members and support whenever required.
- Prepare BOMs and Material Masters for product assemblies/components as per specifications in SAP from PLM tool. Support product localization by working closely with the supply chain and product management teams.
- Apply engineering principles to create solutions that meet customer technical and functional requirements while ensuring good manufacturing cost and efficiency.
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, and practices are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, estimate project costs, plan project schedules, and support lean manufacturing, business process improvements, and resource management.
