Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test medical devices, equipment, and software applications
Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical devices
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to identify needs and improve systems
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety guidelines
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and user manuals
Conduct research to support the development of recent medical technologies
Train staff on the proper use of biomedical equipment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
Proven experience in medical device design, testing, or maintenance (preferred)
Robust knowledge of engineering principles and medical terminology
Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Solid communication and teamwork abilities
