Job description
Role & responsibilities
Perform relay testing, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Siemens relays.
Interpret and test protection schemes for
a. Overcurrent Earth Fault
b. Distance
c. Line differential
d. Transformer Protection
Analyze relay settings and protection schemes for transmission and
distribution systems.
3.Well-versed in IEC 61850 protocols, GOOSE messaging.Coordinate with project and commissioning teams for in office activities.
4.Generate comprehensive test reports and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
5.Work with relay configuration software (e.g., EnerVista, DIGSI for Siemens or other OEM-specific testing tools).
6.Conduct FAT/SAT and provide customer technical support during commissioning.
