We are looking for an experienced Manager Production to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure achievement of production, quality, productivity, cost and safety objectives.

The ideal candidate should have solid shop-floor production management experience with exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S and OEE improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations and achieve monthly/annual production targets.
Optimize utilization of machines, manpower, materials and utilities.
Monitor production schedules and minimize downtime, rejection and rework.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores and Planning teams.
Drive productivity and process improvement through Lean, TPM, Kaizen and 5S.
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Improve OEE and reduce cycle time.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, ISO and customer specifications.
Reduce process defects and customer complaints.
Manage manpower planning, shift operations and shop-floor discipline.




Train and develop supervisors, operators and technicians.
Ensure implementation of EHS standards and promote a zero-accident culture.
Prepare MIS reports covering production, efficiency, wastage and downtime.
Coordinate with SCM, Purchase and Dispatch for smooth production flow.

Desired Candidate Profile
12+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical Engineering.
Experience in Automotive, Auto Components, Tube Manufacturing, Steel Processing, Precision Engineering or Industrial Manufacturing preferred.
Solid exposure to shop-floor management and production planning.
Hands-on experience in OEE, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and 5S.
Robust manpower and shift management skills.
Knowledge of quality systems, EHS and statutory manufacturing requirements.
ERP/MIS knowledge preferred.
