Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringIndustry Preference:Data Centres / MEP / Mechanical / Infrastructure / Industrial ProjectsABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a technically strong, commercially aware and execution-focusedProject Managercapable of independently managing Data Centre, Mechanical and MEP projects from initial planning through final handover.The Project Manager will have end-to-end ownership of the project coveringdesign coordination, client approvals, planning, budgeting, procurement coordination, site execution, manpower management, HSE, quality, cost control, billing, loss prevention, testing, handover and project closure.A critical requirement of this position is the ability to coordinate effectively between theClient, Consultant, Design Team, Procurement/SCM, Manufacturing, Site Execution, QA/QC, HSE, Billing and Commercial Teams .The Project Manager will be expected to manage not only the technical delivery of the project but also itsfinancial performance, cost control and profitability .The position requires a Project Manager capable of takingcomplete ownership of the assigned project as an individual delivery and cost centre .The Project Manager's responsibility extends fromdesign coordination and approvals → planning → budgeting → procurement → execution → HSE → quality → cost control → loss prevention → billing → profitability → testing → handover → final project closure.The objective is to deliver every projectsafely, on time, within budget,



at the required quality standards and with the targeted commercial performance and profitability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordination & Client ApprovalsThe Project Manager will be responsible for driving the complete design coordination and approval process required for project execution.Drawing & Technical KnowledgeThe candidate must possess sufficient technical knowledge to independently understand project drawings and coordinate execution.Project Planning & SchedulingThe Project Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the complete project execution plan.Working knowledge ofMS Excel and MS Office is mandatory .Knowledge ofMS Project or equivalent project planning softwarewill be an added advantage.Site Execution & Project DeliveryThe Project Manager will have complete ownership of project execution from mobilisation through final handover.Team & Manpower ManagementThe Project Manager will manage Site Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, Fitters, subcontractors and other project resources.BUDGETING, COST ANALYSIS & LOSS PREVENTIONProject BudgetingThe Project Manager will have responsibility for understanding and controlling the approved project budget.The Project Manager will be expected to prepare and/or maintain project-level cost plans and forecasts throughout execution.Cost Analysis & Cost ControlThe Project Manager will regularly analyse:Budgeted Cost vs Actual Cost vs Committed Cost vs Forecast Final Cost.Loss PreventionThe Project Manager must actively identify and prevent potential financial losses throughout the project lifecycle.Project ProfitabilitySuccessful project delivery will be measured not only by completion but also byfinancial performance .MATERIAL & PROCUREMENT COORDINATIONThe Project Manager will coordinate closely with Procurement / SCM and Manufacturing teams.Maintain aMaterial Procurement & Delivery Tracker .CLIENT & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENTThe Project Manager will act as the primary project-level interface with the Client and other stakeholders.CHANGE, VARIATION & ADDITIONAL WORK MANAGEMENTThe Project Manager must actively identify changes to the original project scope.Maintain aVariation / Additional Work Register .BILLING & COMMERCIAL COORDINATIONThe Project Manager will work closely with the Billing and Commercial Teams to ensure executed work is converted into certified billing.Prepare / coordinateJMRs – Joint Measurement Records .QUALITY ASSURANCE & QUALITY CONTROLThe Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that work is completed according to approved technical and quality requirements.HSE & SAFETY MANAGEMENTThe Project Manager will share responsibility for maintaining a strong safety culture across the project.PROJECT DOCUMENTATION & REPORTINGThe Project Manager will ensure proper maintenance of project documentationTESTING, HANDOVER & PROJECT CLOSUREThe Project Manager will remain responsible for the project through final closure.KEY COMPETENCIESThe ideal candidate should demonstrate:Solid ownership and accountabilityLeadership and team-management capabilityStrong technical problem-solving abilityCommercial awarenessCost-conscious decision makingClient-facing communication skillsNegotiation and coordination skillsPlanning and organisational abilityStrong documentation disciplineAbility to manage multiple stakeholdersAbility to work under demanding project schedulesAbility to identify risks before they impact the projectStrong focus on project profitability and loss preventionPREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCEPreference will be given to candidates with exposure to:Data Centre ProjectsHot Aisle / Cold Aisle ContainmentStructural Ceiling / Support SystemsMEP InfrastructureMechanical InstallationsModular / DFMA ConstructionCritical Infrastructure ProjectsLarge-scale Industrial ProjectsCandidates who have worked in environments with stringentHSE, QA/QC, documentation and Client approval requirementswill have an advantage.
