- Designation: Team Leader
- Department: Paint Shop
- Education: Diploma in Paint Technology (Mandatory)
- Experience: 5-6 Yrs of Experience in Plastic Painting Parts, preferably from Automotive industry
- Language Proficiency: Hindi, English & Gujarati preferable

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate all the activities of the Team.
- Ensuring paint shop processes are maintained and running effectively for vehicle production.
- Accountable for achieving the manufacturing metrics target as set in the management objective
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- FTT (First time through)
- Safety (Lost time cases)

- Problem solving (analyse data, determine root cause, develop implementation plans.
- Maintain process documentation, Quality system / Procedures adherence
- Improve operations by reducing costs, reducing energy usage, improve quality.
- Support safety of the paint shop & operators.




- Provide technical support for the specific plant operations.
- Coordinate input from internal/external customers to better understand customer needs / perceptions.
- Communicate the team about the production schedule for the day and ensure adherence
- Discuss with AME for want of resources like manpower and job rotation.
- Job allotment to the Team Members.
- Highlight maintenance issues and design issues to AME and Manager
- PPAP procedure adherence during Recent model launches / engineering changes
- Highlight quality issues to Incoming Quality and ensure closure of concerns
- Co-ordination with MP&L; to meet the delivery schedule.
- Check minimum inventory levels of consumables.
- Stop the machine in case of abnormality
- Hold the suspect material
- EHS systems/ Procedure adherence
