The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. Day-to-day activities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and supporting statutory and tax compliances such as GST, TDS, and income tax filings. The role involves coordinating with clients to obtain financial data, resolving accounting discrepancies, and supporting audit engagements with required documentation. The Accountant will also assist in periodic management reports,



ensure adherence to firm policies and accounting standards, and collaborate with senior team members on special assignments.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable/receivable processing, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping using accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).Candidates should possess familiarity with Indian taxation and compliance, including GST, TDS, and income tax rules and return preparation.Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.Candidates should possess robust analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.Relevant academic background such as B.Com, M.Com, or partially/fully qualified CA/CPA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.Prior experience in a CA firm or accounting role is beneficial, along with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
