Role & responsibilities

- Handle liaison and approval processes for real estate development and redevelopment projects.
- Coordinate with MCGM/BMC, SRA, MHADA, MMRDA, TMC, Collector, and other relevant authorities as applicable.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on drawings, applications, proposals, NOCs, permissions, and approval documents.
- Coordinate with appointed architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, legal teams, and project teams.
- Track the status of various approvals and ensure timely follow-up with concerned departments.
- Handle documentation and correspondence related to statutory approvals.
- Review architectural drawings and ensure compliance with applicable development regulations and authority requirements.
- Coordinate for building permissions, commencement certificates, occupation certificates, IOD/CC, NOCs, and other statutory approvals as applicable.
- Assist in obtaining permissions related to redevelopment, SRA, society proposals, and development projects.
- Maintain proper records of all submissions, approvals, remarks, and correspondence.
- Identify approval-related issues and coordinate with consultants and authorities for timely resolution.
- Attend meetings with government authorities and consultants whenever required.
- Keep updated with changes in DCPR, development regulations, circulars, and approval procedures.




- Provide regular updates to management on the status of approvals and pending matters.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust knowledge of real estate approval and liaison processes.
- Good understanding of BMC/MCGM and other Mumbai development authorities.
- Knowledge of DCPR and relevant development regulations.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and approvals simultaneously.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-management skills with consultants and authorities.

Qualification

- B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) Mandatory
- 510 years of relevant experience in real estate, construction, redevelopment, or architectural consultancy.
- Candidates with experience in Mumbai real estate approvals, SRA, redevelopment, and BMC permissions will be preferred.
- Should have hands-on experience in liaison and statutory approvals.
- Should have good knowledge of the Mumbai development approval process.
- Should be capable of independently following up on approvals from submission to sanction.
- Experience with reputed real estate developers or architectural consultancy firms will be an advantage.
