Job Responsibilities

- Determining the provider and keying the information into the system and accurately apply, differences in coding requirements for various payers, clients and state programmers.
- Ensure number of charts in batch equals to total received from clients.
- Undertakes denial follow-up and appeals work wherever required.
- Received and reviewed charge documents from sites.
- Ensured charge information provided is acceptable and perfect.
- Abstracted CPT-4 and ICD-9-CM from medical records.
- Interpreted medical records and assigned suitable diagnostic and procedural codes.
