Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Design secure, high-performance REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Build and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Implement cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Define backend architecture, system design, and coding best practices.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

- 8+ years of backend software development experience.




- Strong expertise in Python and FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices, Distributed Systems, and System Design.
- Robust knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and at least one NoSQL database.
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Backend Engineer, or Solution Architect.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
