Job Title: Software Testing Senior Associate

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)

Position Description:

- We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team, responsible for both traditional software testing and validation of AI/ML-based applications.
- This role combines hands-on test automation (API, UI, and BDD-based testing) with emerging responsibilities around evaluating AI model outputs, prompt behavior, and AI-driven application quality.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working across conventional QA practices and newer AI validation techniques such as accuracy checks, bias detection, and hallucination testing.

Skills Required:

- Python, Rest Assured, Application Testing, cucumber, Automation testing, Selenium, Java

Skills Preferred:

- Ability to communicate and work with cross-functional teams and all levels of management, Data Management, API, AI/ML, CI/CD, GCP

Experience Required:

- Senior Associate Exp: 4+ years in IT; 2 years in testing
- years of experience in software testing / quality assurance, including test automation.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing automated test cases for APIs and web applications.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automated UI test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Experience testing RESTful web services and validating API responses for accuracy.
- Experience using version control systems (Git) in a collaborative development environment.

Experience Preferred:





- Experience testing AI/ML-based applications, including LLM or chatbot outputs.
- Exposure to research-oriented testing activities such as prompt evaluation and model validation.
- Experience with AI evaluation frameworks (e.g., DeepEval, Ragas, LangSmith, Promptfoo).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and AI/ML application lifecycle.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams alongside Development and Data Science teams.

Additional Information :

- Design and execute automated test cases for APIs, validating responses and ensuring accuracy.
- Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Build and maintain Cucumber/Gherkin-based BDD test suites.
- Collaborate closely with Development teams to debug and resolve issues.
- Analyze applications under test for effective object identification and test coverage.
- Create test scenarios, collect test data, and identify end-to-end scenarios.
- Build modular, reusable components and implement error handling within automation frameworks.
- Develop data-driven tests and execute them through the automation framework.
- Define, analyze, and export test results, generate reports, and track defects to closure.
- Contribute to regression and integration testing cycles.
- Validate AI/ML application outputs for accuracy, consistency, bias, and hallucination.
- Support prompt evaluation and model validation activities for AI-based features.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
