Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models of automotive components using CATIA V5 Part Design and Generative Shape Design (GSD).
- Create Class-A/B/C surfaces and solid models based on customer requirements.
- Prepare 2D drawings with GDT and manufacturing details.
- Perform design modifications based on engineering change requests (ECNs).
- Ensure compliance with automotive design standards and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including CAE, tooling, and manufacturing.
- Maintain design documentation and support design reviews.
Required Skills
- 2 6 years of experience in CATIA V5 Part Design and Surface Modelling.
- Valuable knowledge of Generative Shape Design (GSD) and Assembly Design.
- Experience in automotive plastic, sheet metal, or cast components.
- Understanding of GDT, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
