JD - Network & Security Engineer Role: Network & Security Engineer Level: Senior / L3 Experience: 8–10 Years Location: Thane and Hyderabad Role Summary Senior Network & Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data center and security environments. The role owns Layer-3 networking, Cisco ACI fabrics, DC-DR architecture, security platforms, and compliance, acting as the escalation point for complex incidents and architecture decisions. Core Skills (Must-Have) Robust data center networking & Layer-3 fundamentals Cisco ACI (Multi-Pod, Multi-Site) design and operations Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switching (vPC, STP, LACP, VLANs, VRFs, QoS) Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS (MPLS concepts) DC-DR network architecture and resiliency design Enterprise firewalls: FortiGate, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto F5 technologies – LTM, GTM/DNS, WAF Strong troubleshooting, RCA,



and stakeholder communication Good-to-Have Hybrid / cloud connectivity and migration exposure Experience in regulated environments (ISO / SOC) Capacity planning and lifecycle (EOL/EOS) management Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support enterprise DC networks Build and operate Cisco ACI fabrics (Multi-Pod / Multi-Site) Configure and troubleshoot Layer-3 routing Design and maintain DC-DR connectivity for high availability Support on-prem to cloud migration and hybrid designs Administer and optimize network security platforms Ensure secure application delivery across DC and DR Lead root-cause analysis for complex network/security incidents Maintain architecture diagrams, SOPs, and audit artefacts Ensure compliance with all auditory requirements Owns architecture, compliance, and major incident resolution Works closely with security, cloud, and application teams
