- Installation and commissioning of portable and fixed gas detectors at customer locations.
- Perform routine calibration, bump testing, functional testing and preventive maintenance of gas detection instruments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to gas detectors, sensors, batteries, pumps, displays, alarms and other components.
- Carry out sensor replacement, battery replacement and minor repairs as required.
- Configure and test gas detectors as per customer requirements and OEM specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and understand customer requirements for gas detection systems.
- Provide technical support for LEL, O₂, CO, H₂S, CO₂, SO₂, NO, NO₂ and other gas detection applications, as applicable to the instrument.
- Install and commission fixed gas detection systems, transmitters, controllers and associated accessories.
- Verify alarm settings, relay outputs, analog outputs and communication interfaces wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper records of calibration, service, repair and commissioning activities.
- Prepare Service Reports, Calibration Certificates, Installation Reports and Commissioning Reports.
- Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical resolution.
